تمكين المزارعات: دور الجمعيات التعاونية في ولاية كوارا، نيجيريا

الملخص
تتمتع التعاونيات بالقدرة على أن تكون أداة مهمة للمرأة لتحقيق التحول الاجتماعي، وخاصة في المناطق الريفية. أما الدراسة فقد تناولت دور الجمعيات التعاونية في تمكين المرأة في ولاية كوارا بنيجيريا. تم استخدام تقنية أخذ العينات العشوائية متعددة المراحل لاختيار 219 مستجيباً للدراسة. تم استخدام استبيان جيد التنظيم للحصول على معلومات من المستجيبين وتم تحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها من خلال الإحصائيات الوصفية والاستدلالية. وأظهرت نتائج النتائج أن أفراد العينة كانوا في عمرهم الإنتاجي بمتوسط عمر 42 سنة. غالبية (90.0٪) من المستجيبين كانوا متزوجين ويبلغ حجم الأسرة 8 معالين. نسبة أعلى (93.0%) من أفراد العينة تلقوا تعليماً ابتدائياً (57.5%) كأعلى مستوى تعليمي وصل إليه أفراد العينة. كان المستجيبون مزارعين ممارسين بشكل رئيسي ولديهم 14 عامًا من الخبرة الزراعية ويكسبون في المتوسط 243,741.1 ين سنويًا. قامت الجمعيات التعاونية بتمكين المزارعات في الغالب من خلال توفير الخدمات الاستشارية والدعوة (92.2٪)، والتجهيز الجماعي للمنتجات الزراعية (90.9٪) وبرامج اكتساب المهارات (90.4٪). شاركت المزارعات بشكل أكبر في التجهيز الجماعي للمنتجات الزراعية (M.S= 4.16). كان مستوى مشاركة المرأة في برامج التمكين معتدلاً (94.5%، ذكر= 2.76) مع ارتفاع مستوى التمكين في الجوانب النفسية (96.0%، ذكر= 3.96) مقارنة بالجوانب الاقتصادية (97.7%، ذكر= 2.38) والجوانب الاجتماعية والثقافية. (90.9%، M=2.89) الأبعاد. كانت المزارعات مقيدين بشكل رئيسي بمحدودية الوصول إلى الائتمان (M = 2.79) والأموال المحدودة (M = 2.53) لتقديم برامج التمكين. توجد علاقة موجبة ومعنوية (P<0.05) بين العمر، الخبرة الزراعية، حجم الأسرة، سنوات العضوية في التعاونيات ومستوى المشاركة. تظهر نتائج PPMC أيضًا وجود ارتباط كبير (r = 0.67، p <0.05) بين مستويات المشاركة والتمكين. ولذلك أوصت الدراسة بأن تقوم الحكومة بتوفير التسهيلات الائتمانية والأموال الكافية للجمعيات التعاونية لطرح المزيد من برامج التمكين للمزارعات من أجل سبل العيش المستدامة والأمن الغذائي.
