AbstractA Field the experiment was conducted during the summer season of2007 at shamyah ( AL-Qadissiyah governorate ) ,to study the effect of twovarieties (anbar 33 and yassmin) and four timing of application (control,one ,two , three times ) for foliar application fertilizer iron .The results showed a significant effect of variety where anbar33 gavethe highest means of the number of days from planting until 50% offlowering , the number of the days from 50%flowering till physiologicalmaturity ,plant length while variety yassmin gave significant effect on thegrain yield ton/ha. The number of times the spray treatment of iron showed three timesspraying significantly higher in the average number of days from plantinguntil to 50% flowering ,the number of the days from 50%flowering tillphysiological ,the weight of 1000 grains and the grain yield ton/ha.The interaction between variety and foliar application of iron gavesignificant effect on the weight of 1000 grains only .
