النيكل عنصر هام وأساسي لنمو وتطور النبات. أجريت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة تأثير جزيئات النيكل النانوية بأحجام مختلفة (Ni NPs) بتركيزات مختلفة على الصفات الفسيولوجية والتشريحية لشتلات بريوفيلوم بيناتوم. أربع معاملات استخدمت 20 و40 نانومتر لكل منهما تركيزان؛ 0.20 و0.40 جزء في المليون في أربع مكررات. تم تطبيق جرعتين من التطبيق على الأوراق بعد 30 يومًا. أظهرت النتائج أن 40 نانومتر / 0.2 جزء في المليون كان له تأثير محفز على طول النبات والوزن الجاف للنبات ومحتوى الكلوروفيل. بينما تعمل 20 نانومتر / 0.2 جزء في المليون كمثبط للجميع باستثناء محفز لمنطقة الأوراق. وفقًا لدراسة مهمة، مكونات بنية النبات مثل الطبقة الوسطى والصفيحة والساق وزيادة كمية العفص في جميع الأجزاء التي تم فحصها؛ تتأثر بشكل كبير بـ Ni NPs. وبالتالي، فإن إضافة مستوى مناسب من Ni NPs يمكن أن يحسن الصحة العامة والنمو الفسيولوجي والخصائص التشريحية لـ Bryophyllum pinnatum
