Effect of Nitrogen and Phosphorus Fertilization on Yield and Some Growth Parameters of Sudangrass (Sorghum sudanese ) Crop

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of nitrogen(0,200 and 300 kgNha-1) and phosphorus (0,60,and 180 kgPha-1) fertilization and their combination on yield and some growth parameters of sudangrass(Sorghum Sudanese). (Number of leaves per plant, plant height, number of heads per plant, weight of 1000 seeds, ,yields of seeds , dry weight of shoots and protein content in seeds)were measure . Results indicated that nitrogen and phosphate application and their combination had significant effects on all growth parameters and yield of Sudangrass . The combination treatment of 300kgNha-1 plus 180 kgPha-1) gave higher yield (71.86 gm.plant-1) and protein content in seeds( 5.79 %) and other growth parameters. .

The Effect of Organic Fertilizer and Nitrogen Fertilizer on the Growth of Wheat Growing in Salt Soil

Field experiment is conducted at the college of Agriculture - University of Diyala to study the effect of two factors : organic fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer on the grow and productivity of wheat that grow in salt soil (10 dS m-1), two levels of organic fertilizer were used (2 and 4 t h-1 ) and three levels of nitrogen were used (0, 50 and 100 kg h-1). Result show that both of organic fertilizer and nitrogen levels have significantly effect on agronomy and productivity attributes of wheat, interaction between the second level of organic fertilizer and the third level of nitrogen is the best result in plant height 75.9 cm, tillers 7.1, flag leaf area 31.4 cm2, dry weight of shoot 365 g, spike weight 3.36 g, number of spikes/ m2 203, number of seeds in the spike 36.9 and the weight of 100 seeds 11.22 g are significantly differences in other treatments.

The Impact of Bio fertilizer (EM1) and the Different Levels of Nitrogen and Mixed Chemical Fertilizers Addition on the Yield of Rice and it's component

A field experiment is carried out during June to November, 2014 to study the impact of chemical fertilizers with biofertilizer (EM1) on the yield of rice and its components (Oryza sativa L.), cv.Yasamin. The experiment is done using Completely Randomized Block Design with three replicates. There are four treatments of mixed fertilizers, urea and biofertilizer (EM1) that is used in this study, T1 (recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice), T2 (biofertilizer + 1/4 recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice), T3 (1/2 recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice) and T4 (biofertilizer + whole recommended dose of chemical fertilizer for rice). Significantly, increases are observed in seeds per panicle, 150.9, number of tillers.m-2 462 and grain yield, 5.31 Mg. ha-1 in T4 treatment). Using biofertilizer (EM1) reduces spikelet sterility to 4%.
